| X-Y Plotter |
Cal-Bay's PC-based X-Y plotter software enables you to turn your PC into a fully functioning X-Y plotter. Version 2.3 now released.
Features:
You get all of the traditional features of an X-Y Plotter such as sensitivity ranges, pen up/down, etc, The solution includes automatic nulling and data acquisition calibration routines. Plus, the software allows you to save your data in CSV format and generate plots in a PDF format. By saving you data in this way, you have easy access and analysis of your historical data through the use of standard databases.
Automatic testing against limits:
The software also has the capability of testing your X-Y data against limits. These test limits are defined simply by adding X-Y coordinate pairs into a popup table. When running the plotter, if your data remains within these limits your test passes, if the data falls outside of these limits, the test fails. These tests can be saved and reused allowing you to set up individual tests for all the different products you need to test. The pass/fail information is also stored alongside the actual test data, providing all of the functionality of a complete automated test system at a fraction of the price.
X or Y axis versus Time-base plotting:
One of the new features added in version 2 is the ability to plot either axis against time. The time-base can be defined in the set up. As with the standard XY option, limit masks can be applied to enable testing against limits. Multiple traces can be drawn enabling hysteresis and repeatability tests to be performed easily and quickly.
Hardware:
The software will run on any Windows based PC running XP Pro, Vista and Windows 7. It supports any of the National Instruments Data Acquisition cards that support continuous data buffering. We can also supply a complete turnkey system including data acquisition card, BNC connectivity, ruggedized rack, PC, Monitor and printer.
