Introducing the IntraStage Appliance

 

The Intrastage Data Storage Appliance designed specifically to store, report, and analyze data from manufacturing and research environments. IntraStage Appliance is delivered to clients ready to run once plugged into the network. There is no better way to provide solid performance and affordable service than with an appliance.

 

A Data Appliance?

 

IntraStage works like Google: it crawls over the network on a schedule you specify and imports data from test stations. It stores the contents and indexes it along with others data from all over.

 

Ready for your data

 

IntraStage was pre-designed to store any kind of data, of any format, from any test or manufacturing environment. You never need to customize database tables or have a database administrator to make the system accept your data.

 

Why an Appliance?

 

You'll overcome many hurdles with the IntraStage appliance. Competing products can't make these claims.

 

First and foremost, you do not need to setup database tables. They're done, and there's no need to change them. Think of it as a black-box where your data is a perfect fit. Your IT department doesn't usually want to install anything on their servers for the engineering or manufacturing department. You often don't get much help or support form them either. No programming is required to get data in. Other products may help you write code, with IntraStage there is no code! Let IntraStage migrate your data format using only a wizard interface.

The appliance is pre-configured when it's delivered to you. There is no setup, install, or design time.

Your Reports are Served

 

With the built-in Report Server, you login to a web interface to choose your dataset and choose a report format. IntraStage Appliance can serve reports on your data as soon as it's been collected with just a few clicks.

Common charts and graphs like "Pareto of Failures", or "Yield" are used every day by managers and engineers to know the status of your business at a glance.

Advanced presentations include measurement versus limits charts. 6-Sigma and SPC charting and reports (6-Sigma, X-bar-R)

 

Powerful Analyses

 

The same data that goes into making your basic reports can also be used to do powerful analyses and graphical reports. Using the industry-standard DIAdem product.

 

No News Is Good News

 

There's no reason to look at status charts if the news is good, so set IntraStage Appliance to notify you only when things change. Take any report and choose a parameter to watch: for example, "if the Yield is less than 95%, send the yield report to my email inbox". Or try "If the Cpk is less than 1.0, send an email to the entire project team." There's no limit to the ways you can keep track of your company's processes, and now, do it with no effort!
